MATCHMAKING: How does it work?


Matchmaking at German-African Economic Forum 2024 organised by the Enterprise Europe Network (ZENIT GmbH) is a quick and easy way to meet potential cooperation partners in face-2-face meetings.

Note: Registration for matchmaking must be done via the desktop version, only then you can log into the app.

  • Register for the German-African Economic Forum NRW 2024 using the official website --> https://afrika-wirtschaftsforum-nrw.de/
  • Register for the matchmaking using the link provided in the confirmation mail.
  • Do you want to publish your offers or needs and manage B2B meetings on-site? If yes, read more below.

    Publish a business profile to showcase your needs

    Create a strong profile which will raise your visibility to others on this platform. Make it clear and concise. 
    Your profile should describe who you are, what you can offer to potential partners and who you want to meet. 
    A good profile will significantly generate more meetings. Don't forget your profile will be live and visible even after the event.

    Find out who is offering interesting and promising business opportunities

    Send & receive meeting requests

    Be active not reactive. Browse published participants profiles and send meeting requests to those you want to meet at the event. Adding a meaningful remark why you are interested in a meeting will increase the chance that your request will be accepted. Accepted meeting requests will be scheduled automatically.
    TIP: Download the "b2match" mobile App (App Store) to manage your 1:1 meetings on your phone!

    Please note:

    • Incoming meeting requests have to be accepted by the recipients otherwise they can't be scheduled

    Matchmaking Day

    6th March 2024

    A day before the event you will receive an email with your personalized meeting schedule, indicating your meeting partner, time slot and the table number. You can also check your meeting agenda any time online or in the b2match app. It will be updated at regular intervals.
